" A Survivor's Guide to Breast Cancer is a wonderful resource for patients, family members, and those who counsel people with cancer. The book is a very personal and candid account of a survivor, but it also contains many important facts on treatment and useful tips on coping with the psychological consequences of the disease, as well as its necessary treatments."

—Donald K. Freedheim, Ph.D., Professor of Psychology, Case Western Reserve University

"Finally! A sensitive, practical, step-by-step guide for breast cancer patients and their loved ones. I highly recommend this book for those who need guidance, comforting and inspiration through this dark time."

—Marlene M. Maheu, Ph.D. Chair person: California Psychological Association Task Force on Telehealth

"Accolades to Dr. Alice Chang for sharing her personal experiences and professional wisdom in A Survivor's Guide to Breast Cancer . This book is a ‘must read' for everyone—patient, family and friends."

—Dr. Sandra Haber, Ph.D., Past President, Division of Independent Practice, American Psychological Association, editor of Breast Cancer: A Psychological Treatment Manual

"Kudos to Alice Chang for the courage to fight cancer, the will to survive, and the thoughtfulness to share her experience so candidly with others to make their experiences with breast cancer less frightening and mysterious."

—Dorothy W. Cantor, Psy.D. Former President, American Psychological Association
